For showers, these tiles are perfect for shower walls, but only mosaic formats are recommended for shower floors. They're also allowed for pool interiors (not the deck), and can be used for kitchen backsplashes. Always double-check finish restrictions for your specific project.

The matte finish is recommended for floors and exterior applications, while glossy options are best for walls and backsplashes. Matte tiles have a softer, less reflective look and tend to hide smudges and water spots better; glossy tiles offer a brighter shine but may show fingerprints or splashes more. For easier maintenance on high-traffic or wet floors, stick with matte.

Each box covers 5.38 square feet and contains 66 pieces. Measure your project's total square footage, then divide by 5.38 to get the minimum number of boxes. Add an extra 10–15% for cuts, future repairs, and pattern matching—so for a 30 sq ft project, order at least 7 boxes to ensure you have enough.

Fango Porcelain Subway Tile has a Zellige-inspired, artisanal texture with soft edges and natural shade variation, so each tile looks a bit unique. Expect visible differences in color and surface from piece to piece, which creates a handcrafted, organic look in the finished installation. This is intentional—lay out a few boxes before installation to blend the variations for the best visual effect.

For grout, a neutral or light gray will highlight the undefined artisanal edges, but personal preference applies. Clean tiles with a gentle, non-abrasive cleaner to preserve the porcelain and textured finish. For floors, especially matte tiles, confirm with your installer that your choice meets slip-resistance needs in wet areas.
