Light Becomes Part of the Surface

Micare is built around light rather than heavy relief. The glossy porcelain glaze reveals mineral sparkle and fine dark speckling as the viewing angle changes, giving the 2x6 tile a shifting depth that a flat solid-color glaze cannot reproduce. Six color families—Alpi, Ambar, Evergreen, Linen, Midnight, and Saffron—are each offered in Light, Medium, and Dark intensities, so the collection can move from understated shimmer to a stronger mineral presence without changing format.

A Flexible 2x6 Format

The slim 2x6 proportion works naturally in stacked, running-bond, vertical, and herringbone layouts. Pale Linen and Alpi tones create a softer reflective field, while Midnight, Evergreen, and Saffron let color and grout become more graphic. Because the finish is glossy, Micare is especially effective on backsplashes, shower walls, niches, and feature walls where directional light can activate the surface.

Application Notes

WOW Design classifies Micare as porcelain body for indoor and outdoor walls, showers, and pools. Floor use is more limited: WOW specifically identifies Linen for floor applications, and the glossy surface is not slip-resistant. For floor projects, confirm the exact selected shade and installation conditions rather than assuming every Micare color carries the same rating.
