A Linear Trencadís Surface

Trencadis Guell stretches WOW Design's interpretation of Barcelona trencadís into a 2.5x11 porcelain format. The elongated shape keeps the irregular-fragment character of the collection but adds a strong directional line.

Eight Reliefs Create Natural Variation

Guell uses eight different reliefs so a wall or floor does not read as a single repeated emboss. Artic, Ash, Basalt, Chalk, Coal, Mud, Rila, and Sand provide a fully matte palette from pale stone tones through charcoal and earth colors. Horizontal, vertical, and offset layouts each change how the relief catches light.

Technical Use

WOW Design lists Trencadis as porcelain body with DCOF above 0.60 for indoor and outdoor walls and floors. Shower, steam-shower, and pool installations require epoxy grout. PEI ratings vary by color, from PEI 2 for Mud, Coal, and Basalt up to PEI 5 for Chalk.
