A Classic Brick Mosaic with the Movement of Stone

Agate Brick takes one of the easiest shapes to live with—the 1x2 rectangle—and gives it the depth of something found in nature rather than stamped from a machine. Color moves through the handcrafted glass in soft bands and layers, echoing the mineral patterns of semi-precious agate. In a kitchen backsplash the brick layout feels familiar but far from ordinary; in a shower or pool the translucent and opaque areas catch changing light and water in completely different ways.

The Agate series grew from old-world Venetian glassmaking influences, where layers of glass could be worked for both color and depth. Here that idea becomes a modern mosaic made in small batches, with natural variation from piece to piece. Each Agate color contains 70% post-consumer recycled glass, so the material story is as considered as the visual one.

Pearl for Glow, Silk for a Softer Surface

Pearl brings forward the color with a subtle metallic shimmer, making the glass feel more luminous as light moves across it. Silk softens that reflection with a matte etched surface. The same color can feel dramatically different between the two, which makes Agate Brick useful when you want either a jewel-like backsplash or a quieter, more architectural wall.

This paper-faced glass mosaic is suitable for kitchen backsplashes, bathroom and shower walls, steam showers, exterior walls, fireplace or cooktop surrounds, and fully submerged pools, spas, and water features. For floor or foot-traffic applications, the Silk finish is the recommended choice.
