The Classic 1x1 Square, Shifted Just Enough

Agate Offset uses the same small square language as a traditional 1x1 mosaic but staggers the rows, giving the surface a little more movement before the glass color even enters the picture. That subtle shift breaks up the straight grid and helps the mineral-like bands inside the handcrafted glass flow more naturally across a wall, shower, pool, or backsplash.

It is a smart choice when you like the versatility of a square mosaic but do not want the installation to feel overly formal. From a distance the staggered layout reads almost like a woven surface; up close, each piece reveals the translucent and opaque layers inspired by semi-precious agate.

Handcrafted Glass Means No Two Areas Read Exactly Alike

Agate is made in small batches with 70% post-consumer recycled glass. Slight differences in shade, edge, texture, and surface character are expected and are part of what gives the finished field its depth. Pearl adds a luminous metallic shimmer; Silk softens the same colors with a matte etched finish and is recommended for foot-traffic applications.
