A Glass Mosaic with the Rhythm of Rio

Agate Rio does not sit quietly in a grid. Its wave pattern takes inspiration from the famous black-and-white pavement along Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, translating that rolling movement into handcrafted glass. Multiple rows of luminous Pearl are interrupted by a row of matte Silk, so the surface gains rhythm not only from shape but from the way each finish handles light.

On a shower wall, the pattern can feel like water already in motion. Around a pool or spa, the wave becomes even more literal. On a backsplash or feature wall, it gives a room a strong graphic line without losing the organic depth that defines the Agate series.

Gemstone Color Inside a Graphic Pattern

Agate glass is made in small batches with flowing bands of opaque and translucent color inspired by semi-precious stone. Each color contains 70% post-consumer recycled glass, and the handmade process means slight shifts in shade, edge, texture, and surface character are part of the finished installation. Rio uses a deliberate mix of Pearl and Silk finishes rather than a single uniform sheen.

Made for Water, Walls and Feature Surfaces

Rio is suitable for backsplashes, shower and steam-shower walls, exterior walls, fireplace or cooktop surrounds, and fully submerged pools, spas, and water features. The mixed finish also gives the mosaic enough visual texture to work as a statement floor where the application is appropriate.
